PAPICH CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTED WITH CONCASTCO TO COMPLETE (2) 24” HORIZONTAL AUGER BORES UNDERNEATH A UNION PACIFIC MAIN LINE TRACK IN GUADALUPE, CA.  THIS WAS THE FIRST JOB FOR OUR AMERICAN AUGERS 24/30 – 150 MACHINE, AND IT PROVED A WORTHWHILE INVESTMENT.  THE FIRST OF THE 2 BORES WAS COMPLETED IN 3 DAYS FROM MACHINE SET-UP TO MACHINE PULL-OUT.  THE SECOND, AND LONGER, OF THE 2 BORES (PICTURED HERE) WENT UNDERNEATH (3) RAILROAD TRACKS, AND PUNCHED THROUGH LESS THAN 1” OFF GRADE AND ALIGNMENT.  WAYNE LITERALLY “HIT THE WINDOW” WITH THIS BORE, EXPEDITING THE PROJECT AND FACILITATING EASE OF PIPE CONNECTION FOR PAPICH CONSTRUCTION.
