Ross Kallenberger – President / CEO |
|
Ross began his career in the construction industry at age 18. He graduated from Cal State Bakersfield with a degree in Business / Business Administration, after simultaneously taking night classes, working full time, and raising a family. Ross decided to go into business for himself and, together with his wife Loraine, founded ConCastCo in 1976. Ross’s determination, work ethic, and tenacity helped build ConCastCo into one of the most well respected underground utilities contractors in the Kern County area. Ross specializes in managing ConCastCo’s relationship-based private sector work. His projects involve repeat customers, some of which ConCastCo has been working with for over twenty years. His reputation as an innovator and his “can do” approach to projects compliments the nature of the projects under his supervision. Many of the projects under Ross’s supervision involve complicated tie-in’s, and retrofit utility work. In his spare time, Ross enjoys spending time with his wife Loraine, 3 children (Jenni, Katie, and Geoff), and 7 grandchildren (Tori, Jake, Josh, Jordan, Tawny, Rylie, and Avery). Ross also enjoys sailing, traveling in his rail car, and collecting antique machines and cars. Ross is also a licensed pilot and owns a plane, an ability that is advantageous in both business and personal travel. |

Aaron Orndorff – Chief Operations Officer |

Aaron has had a knack for pipelines since he was a small child. He started repairing lawn sprinkler systems for neighbors at age 6, and later evolved into installing entire residential irrigation systems. He was once sent to a child psychologist for bringing sprinklers and pipe fittings for show and tell in kindergarten. Aaron met Ross in Cub Scouts, and later began working for ConCastCo during summers and breaks from school. Aaron graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Construction Management. While in San Luis Obispo, he worked full time as an excavator operator for a reputable General Engineering contractor based in Arroyo Grande, CA. After graduation, Aaron went to work in the Modesto area as a Foreman and Superintendent for a large Pipeline company, where he developed a knack for managing large, complex public infrastructure projects. Aaron specializes in managing large volume public infrastructure and private development projects. His years of field experience growing up coupled with his energetic, aggressive approach to production based, schedule driven work allows him to efficiently estimate and manage ConCastCo’s competitively bid public projects. Aaron also manages ConCastCo’s dispatching operations, overseeing the efficient utilization of labor and equipment on all projects. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys running, swimming, road cycling, traveling, training with his German Shepherd, Eva, and spending time with family and friends. |
